The cottage has views over the green to the front and to the side, over the Bishopdale Hills. It has benefited from general modernisation especially with the fitting of a new bathroom and shower, but still retains many features which lend character. For example; beams, stone steps from the kitchen, original doors etc.. There is also a new multi fuel burner to compliment the efficient storage heaters and to enhance your visit.
Beech Cottage has one large, well appointed double room with views over the Green, a second, smaller double room which has a three quarter bed and also a single room. There is a bathroom and shower and a separate toilet upstairs. On the ground floor there is a character dining room and a cosy sitting room with stove as mentioned. There is also a large kitchen/dining room with a pantry. Outside there is parking for two cars, a small front garden, and to the side a very private patio garden.
You will find yourselves well provided for by the excellent village store and Post Office situated nearby and by the recently refurbished George Inn, (100 metres), or the Streethead Inn (three quarters of a mile). The cottage is very well placed for exploring the dales or walking, bird watching, cycling etc. or simply a relaxing romantic break.
Smokers and pets by prior arrangement only.
